Bus Driver Roy O'Dell

Reading Dakota Lawson's article "Bus Driver Roy O'Dell" made me smile. Not always do kids get such kind and caring bus drivers. Not only that, but I believe that Roy's actions could benefit the kids he drove to school ( and now Teen Ink readers) by motivating them to do good deeds, just like Dakota said.

In a way, Roy O'Dell reminded me of my bus driver. He would talk with me every morning and tell me stories that happened in his life that would make me gasp and giggle. And though he may not always be right on the dot everyday to the stop, if I were running late, he would wait a few extra minutes and drive up to my house to see where I was.
Just like Dakota will remember her bus driver, I will always remember mine.
