We all have that one best friend. Maybe some have a few more, but we all have one that we want to enjoy minutes with. And Jesse S's best friend is his brother. In, "So Long, Best Friend," Jesse discusses his relationship with his brother and how it is starting to fade.

Similar to Jesse, my best friend is my sister. When we were younger, my sister and I would spend time with each other, playing store and school. She helped me throughout my life. However, now a junior in high school, she is starting to think about colleges and I cannot bear the thought of separation. And now, with more work in eighth grade, spending time at home with each other is hard. Everything is different now, and will change more as time goes on.

"So Long, Best Friend" showed me how relationships could be put to the test. But in order to preserve them, we need to cherish every moment, not letting any detail fall out of reach. Thank you Jesse.
