I wholeheartedly agree with Samantha in her article, "The Mohawk". I believe her choice of getting a mohawk does not at all effect her actions and morals, but for some reason, society thinks her choice of hairstyle immediately makes her a troublemaker. Just because somebody doesn't look like everybody else and tries to be different, it doesn't mean they are less capable than everybody else. Appearance is not everything and you should not judge or assume anything just based on looks. Just like Samantha wrote,"As people came to know me better, they rethought their first impressions". It proves opinions can be changed and should notbe based entirely on looks. Thank you Samantha, for your lesson about appaerances and first impressions.
