The Tortilla Station

The author of "The Tortilla Station" feels like she can relate to the people she was serving; the homeless. After reading this story, the homeless inspired me in many ways, just like they did the author. It is hard for people like me to look outside of our own little world when there is so many "important" things that need to be done, but when other things become more important then others, it can get our priorities out of line. This is something that I got out of "The Tortilla Station." The important thing to learn is from our experiences, and then do something about it.
