Soft Drink

I love the way Emma Wilcox used her rhyme scheme in “Soft Drink.” The poem really flowed well with the rhyming style she used. Also, I love the idea behind the story. Her creativity of describing the soft drink as though it is really a human was amazing. She gives the drink characteristics that only a human would have. She also gave the ability to have action, by saying “you’re wearing out.” This poem was amazingly creative.
