In Cheryl Gray's "Plastic Perfection," I completely agree with her article and her point of view. I know that Barbie can be influential for young girls, but at the same time it can harm them. It harms them because as a young girl they want to be like her. They admire her and she's a role model to them. They want to be like her when they grow up, and it is pyschically impossible to pull a "Barbie figure." As for Ms. Jackson, I think she should stop with the surgeries that she is having and should appreciate her own look.A grown women should not have to modify her body to be perfect when she already is. Barbie can be an inspiration, but it can also cause damage to a young girl.
