The Journey of a Leaf

I found Paige Mitchell's poem, "The Journey of a leaf" fascinating. Paige writes about the life of a leaf. I love the details such as "sweet vanilla winds arrive." The details made me feel as if I were the leaf myself. No one ever thinks or cares about leaves but this poem makes you wonder about not just leaves but also the world. How did things become the way they are? What journeys did they take to become this way? This poem makes me love nature. Thank you Paige for writing such an amazing poem.
