I can agree with Jessica Chen when she wrote about the typical American family flaws in her article, “George Lopez.” I cannot relate to George because my father did not abandon me, and my mother did not abuse me. However, I can relate to the fact that every family has their problems, and “George Lopez” shows these problems while adding a bit of humor. Also, my family uses dark humor as well when they are trying to make a point in my life. “George Lopez” is one of those shows that reminds me of my family and our problems that we face. Thank you, Jessica, for writing about a television show that most families out there can relate to.
