Amy Gofton has created a wonderful piece- a piece on makeup. She wrote about how she decided to toss away all her makeup one day, and after that, felt amazing. This article was to basically say that you don't need make up to look pretty.


Amy is a hero. She doesn't care what society may think if she doesn't plaster her face in cosmetics. She knows that she looks great the way she is, and I think all girls that are feeling down about themselves and how they look should read this article.


During her piece, she says that makeup is sexist and hides natural beauty. I agree 100% with that statement. Girls everywhere who spend endless money on makeup to make themselves look beautiful are actually harming themselves, inside and out. People need to realize that they are perfect without makeup- just the way they are.
