I agreed with Noel O in her article, “Philippine Food Fun.” My parents have family that basically lives in the Philippines, so I know what the foods are mostly like. Most people would agree that yes it’s gross at first, but when you eat it you won’t regret saying those words. I also agreed with the fact that halo-halo is truly one of my favorite foods as well. The very first time I tried it, I instantly loved it, and I couldn’t help but eat some more. Anything that the Philippines cook in my opinion are delicious and on some foods people sometimes need to have curiosity and try the foods that are being given for them to try. Thank you Noel for stating that all of us know that different cultures such as the Philippines can have food that can be “strange, exotic, delicious, nasty, and just plain fun.”
