“A Crash Course in Coolness” by: Emily D. appeals to me because she (Emily) crashed her car not too long after getting her driver’s license. The odd thing is, is that nobody except her was distressed about it. I find that funny because you usually find people angry of sad in car crashes, but the only one was her in that crash. I would think that would have been awkward for me. It might even happen someday, we just never know until it does.


I liked this article because I found it funny. I did because Emily was the only one that thought she was in trouble and beat herself up over just an accident, I mean, it happens to everybody! Have you ever met somebody that hasn’t messed up? You haven’t and that’s what makes humans human, we make mistakes, it’s just normal. She didn’t have to beat herself up for it. That’s my reason why I think it’s funny, because she was human.
