This poem “Ironic” by Kelly L was a bit disturbing to say the least. A girl is alone in a 2nd story bathroom, or so she believes. She, all of a sudden, hears another girl chocking and crying out in the shower. She panics for a moment and then runs to the girl's aid, but when she pulls back the shower curtain, the water is off; and there is no one inside.

The author's comments:
Even though this poem is fictional, it still freaked me out. At first, I didn’t understand what was going on, but near the end of the verse, it all came very clear to me. The girl had encountered paranormal activity that would scare anyone who endured it. I believe that my school has unexplainable occurrences as well. There have been ghost and orb sightings in the school and reports of spiritual doings. Overall, the poem did what it was suppose do and accomplished a sense of fear in me.
