In the October issue, Kate Beckman writes a thought-provoking piece called "Discretion: Teen's Greatest Fear." She writes about how so many youth now a days try so hard to make themselves sound better, especially on social networks such as Facebook and Twitter.
I understand where Kate is coming from, and I agree with her statement. She talks about how people want to have their presence known by over sharing details of their life. Some people post a multitude of statuses on Facebook, sharing how fabulous their lives are. They also post tons of pictures from every little event they have attended. Kate goes on to say that people need to be careful of what kind of image they project to the public.
