Summary of the selection

Much of the time people go out and get candy on Halloween. In this case, three friends decide to toilet paper the house of an unsuspecting family instead. The one friend comes to the conclusion to “only toilet-paper the houses of people you don’t know” after finding out the victims all caught colds while cleaning up the mess.

Reaction:

Toilet-papering houses is a great way to have fun with friends. I agree with the selection to “only toilet-paper the houses of those you don’t know” because it can come back to haunt you. Toilet-papering a well-known friends house can cause guilt and eventually lead to coming clean about the evil deed. I can relate to this selection because I too toilet papered the house of a known family in my neighborhood. I felt very guilty and ended up telling the truth to the family.

I hope people will gain another reason to not toilet paper known friends or family.
