I think in the poem “suffer”, it means that a lot of people these days separate themselves from the rest of the world. A lot of young people are depressed with life and separate themselves. I think it was a thoughtful poem and shows people make mistakes and don’t know what to do afterwards to fix it. The teddy bears express others that probably try to help saddened or depressed people. The author probably thinks distance from the world is what will help the best. I think that the author probably has done a lot of bad things and is trying to make others suffer for them.

I liked the personification that the author used. He described teddy bears doing actions like crying, gathering, and carving things into walls. I think the poem goes really deep because it says a lot of things like, “Every time I threw stones at them, they’d gather them altogether and carve tears in the walls. It makes me feel like they had sympathy for the writer. So overall I really liked the poem and can sort of relate to it.
