First Drive

I didn’t really enjoy reading Katherine Stacy’s poem, “First Drive.” The topic as well as the details seemed to jump all over the place. Moreover, I could not understand what the purpose of the poem was. If there was a point, I missed it, and if it was meant as means of entertainment, my confusion cause too much of a distraction to enjoy it.
