While reading the fiction article “The Sitter,” by Helena Duncan I was terribly moved. It intrigued me how she jumped from Alicia Emerson’s grave to the dream of a horrible night. She described the story from two different senses and it was very well written. When I read “hello? I think I just killed someone,” a chill went sent up my spine. Saying these words seemed so odd when it clearly wasn’t her fault. I felt a wave of emotions ranging from frightened to sad to angry. This fiction article was based on a topic that not many teens are aware of. I found it enlightening to read a full scenario about this dreadful disease.
