Being a Latina MAG

By Yasmine M., Springfield, MA

I could definitely relate to this piece by Crystal O. because I too am a Latina. It's true that people look at my skin color and assume that I can't speak English, or that I'm not an American. My family is from Puerto Rico, but I've lived in Springfield my entire life. I get very frustrated when people see my skin color and think I'm different. They should show respect and Crystal, I back you up all the way!
