Steve D. deserves a standing ovation for his article. I wear contacts but previously didn’t take the best care of them. This “horror” story really scared me; I thought about how I could lose my eyesight and how difficult life would be. Now I take better care of my contacts. I think about Steve and his trauma when he found out he had a cornea ulcer - I never want to go through that! Everyone who wears contacts should read this story.
