Hurt MAG

I have been inspired to write after reading "Hurt" by Carly S. of Califon, New Jersey. Coming from a small midwestern town, I see this kind of prejudice every day. And just like Carly, nothing disgusts me more. Her use of the word "cringe" couldn't have been more appropriate. No one has the right to say such harsh words.

Even though my religion contradicts my beliefs, discrimination is still discrimination. This is supposed to be a country where all people are treated as equals. If this kind of hate is tolerated, then why not make anti-homosexual restaurants and have gay-only water fountains? Sound familiar? It is both ridiculous and unacceptable.
