When I read “Driving Me Nuts” by Emily Ricklin, tears of joy were literally pouring down my face. That may sound weird, but it was such a huge relief to know that someone else in the world has a condition like mine. I, too, have severe food allergies and am currently able to consume exactly eleven foods. My allergies aren’t so severe that I will go into anaphylactic shock if I eat certain foods, but I completely sympathize with Emily just the same. Reading her article has helped me realize that I’m not alone, and just knowing that removes a huge weight from my shoulders. Thanks, Emily!
