I agree with Lawrence M. that “Planet Earth” contains “seemingly impossible shots of wildlife”. Watching it is an overwhelming experience. Viewers just sit there witnessing shot after shot of sharks flinging themselves out of the ocean in slow-motion, doing magnificent flips in mid-air; beautiful birds spreading their wings, revealing startling colors of blue, red, yellow, and green; and serpents slithering around just above the ocean floor, proving that it is possible to fly under-water. These are only highlights of “Planet Earth”, which is clearly more than just a scientific study of animal life on our planet, but a peaceful experience.
