There are no words that begin to describe the feeling of the poem “ He was Only Three” by Xindi Xu. Partly because I felt a sea of feelings all at once just from reading the title. I am so incredibly sorry for Xindi Xu, after all, he was only three. Not only did you have to deal with the fact that he was diagnosed with autism at three, but the guilt of losing him in one of the most populated city in the world, Shanghai. This feedback, if you are reading this, probably is not making you feel any better. So I am sorry, again. I would like you to know that this tragic situation is in no way your fault. I hope that he is in heaven now watching over you. I think that he is at peace now, and you should be too. I think that you should know this happens to other people too. This piece was very heartfelt, and I ’m sure people around the globe that read this piece feel the same way, too.
