Casey L. makes an interesting point in her article, "I Am a Mosquito". After I read this article, I changed my thinking about services people do for others. One little person can make a difference. Think of the many inventions that have made our lives better. Thomas Edison, who is only human, invented the light bulb which we all love to use today. We all take things for granted when we should be thanking the people who have made our lives better. If one person couldn't make a difference we would not lead the lives we lead today. It's hard for us to help the world because a lot of times it feels like you're alone, but you're not. There are so many people in this world and you never know what they are doing. They could have the same purpose as you. Casey is absolutely right; one person can make a huge difference.
