It seems that when you submit something, it takes weeks, perhaps even months for it to be approved. Everything is always published on the website, is it not? Has anyone ever received a letter saying your article was not approved and will never will be? I don't think so. Why not just post everything up right away so we no longer have to wait and wait to see our work up online.

CassaJadethey sometimes don't post stuff if it is of an "inappropriate" subject or if it uses an excessive amount of bad words

It took nine months to actually get published, but they sent the e-mail that told a few days before they sent out the mag. A few days before they posted the new picture on Teen Ink. com

Pandora118i totally agree. i submitted something a few days ago and it still is pending.
MarissaLaGrangeIt does take forever, I have 3 things waiting, but the weird thing is 2 other things I have written have already been approved, and they were pretty much JUST made. I guess it all depends on what people like. But I find waiting very very irriating.

I submitted a short story under fiction (my first one) and they published it the day I submitted it...
Lucky you. How do they decide whats published ? Do they base it off of views, or comments? Or do they read it themselves and then decide?
