It seems that when you submit something, it takes weeks, perhaps even months for it to be approved. Everything is always published on the website, is it not? Has anyone ever received a letter saying your article was not approved and will never will be? I don't think so. Why not just post everything up right away so we no longer have to wait and wait to see our work up online.

karstarr13it took me SO long for my stuff to get on here! it was so aggrivating. And.. i mean, they pretty much take everything, which makes this not competetive at all. I think they should pick and choose what they publish.... but, thats just me LOL
RideTheWavewhat i have found is that since there are a lot of poems submitted, the poems i sumbit take a while to be posted. but there are not many novels, that is probably why it doesnt take as long for them to get approved, because the list of pieces to approve is shorter.

Meaning they only edit for content. Not if the piece is actually well written or not.
andromeda13well you gotta figure that about amillion people are submitting stuff i bet it takes a long time too look through it all, as long as it isn't extremely inappropriate it will prob get posted sooner or later :)

eileentotheleftPoems tend to take longer to publish, whereas nonfiction stories don't take long at all. I think it takes so long so someone can look through and make sure you don't use innappropriate content. And there are more poems than nonfiction stories submitted, so...
