I can absolutly relate to Amber Kenner, in her artical "My Towers Crummbled Too", I to have been racely stereotyped, being that i am of african desent, people assume things, they ask questions and makecomments that are hurtful, rude, just outright truelly hateful remarks. I felt as if i was defeated, and disrespeacted, like i was less of a person. My peers ostacized me, My mom told me my friends would grow out of it, but she did not tell me that it would just get worse as i got older. "Over time i realized I am not to blame; society is."
Thank you Amber Gafur Kenner, for sharing your own expereice with racism.
