Responce To my 9/11

In this article “My 9/11” Kenny Kutzer talks about the destruction of the Twin Towers and the death of hundreds of innocent civilians. Kenny also talks about how he experienced 9/11. Because he was only a child when it occurred, he did not have a very good idea of what was going on when his mom came home from the salon that day with the bad news.

I can relate to that because I was young when the tragedy occurred, so I did not know what was going on when my mother told me. It must have been terrible for Kenny’s family knowing his uncle was working in New York when the planes hit that day. His uncle was fine, but that was not the case for the many people who were killed in the tragedy. One of the many things I appreciated in this article was when he said “ I saw he world come together that day with one voice to support our country.” I think he is referring to all the people that gave love and support to all the people who lost love ones in the tragedy of 9/11.
