I was totally surprised when I read “Bikers for Babies” by Monica B. You see, I was a premature baby. Each year, my mom takes me to the hospital where I was born to visit the doctors, nurses, and staff. While there, we traditionally take my picture standing in front of my portrait hanging in the neonatal intensive care unit.
Reading the article, I was inspired by those who give back through their work with the March of Dimes. This summer I plan to volunteer at a March of Dimes event to help my fellow preemies!
