If you imagine that your
emotions are
paint


and your heart is a
bleak railroad
train


filled with gallons
of (emotions)
paint


And the conductor
is a
drunkard


who throws your train
off the
track


and into a
dull, dark
lake


filled with grotesque,
mottled lake
creatures


Your emotions swirl
around together,
diluted


Workers from the town try
to help
(antidepressants)


But they just dump
in more
water


dilute further until
total, complete
annihilation


Of the human mind
my mind
sleeps

I struggle with slight depression and this really speaks to me. Thank you for putting what I feel into words. this is beautifully written and It makes my happy to know that it was published. You really deserved it.
