It's Back MAG

By Anonymous

Shewalked onto the green lacrosse field,
Her white shirt up against her skingave her whole figure a glow. A slight frown taking the place of her usual brightsmile.
I knew something was wrong.

She had finally been feelingbetter;
Her brunette curls were beginning to grow back,
And her cheekshad regained some of their pink.

I began to feel a tear run down my cheek,
Everything I saw was blurry,
as the thoughts in my head:
can she fightthis again?
be stronger than she's ever had to be,
or is there achance,
even a slight one,
that I will lose my best friend?

Icouldn't deal with it,
I knew what she was here to tell me,

She took astep toward me,
Took a deep breath,
And just lost control, as she jumpedinto my arms.

I didn't know what to say,
Didn't know what to think,
I knew she'd have to go through it all over again,
It was back.
