Silence MAG

By Unknown, Unknown, Unknown

silence pours
into my ears
aquiet rush
of emptiness

i wait silently
as clock hands
tick asteady beat

counting down seconds
minutes of my life
spent insidethis room

my life is slipping
into unhappiness
i move and feel
the first pricks of pain

i watch blood stream
through tubes
into vials
to be tested
and examined

needles blur together
i don't know why i'm here
eleven years of happiness
the rest of mylife as
a diabetic
stares me in the face

i clench myfist
and in my mind
i stick out my tongue
i defy the sadness
watch itrun
and the silence is broken.
