Mobile phones

October 7, 2017

Lets all ask ourselves a vital question, how many hours can you spend without your smartphone? Or can u spend without a whole day without it?

Considering that most adults and teens are addicted to their phones, 67% of smartphone owners have admitted to checking their phone for calls or messages when their phone didn’t vibrate or ring.
Call yourself a phone-dependent then! Social media is the main obstacle that resulted in such hooking.

Am I a smartphone addict? You can check yourself. Do u feel the need of it? As I said can u not spend a day without it ? Do u spend excessive time on your smartphone and cant control it? Do u feel withdrawal effects, angry/ depressed /tensioned , when u don't have your phone if there is no network available? What about new phones releasing, you always want them and feel your thirst? Do you take your phone with you to the bathroom?

What’s physically dangerous about smartphones yet? Without a doubt, digital eye strain. The more hours you spend on your phone, the more you’ll feel it in many ways ; blurred vision, eye fatigue and surely headaches! Less but still happen are neck problems , it’s called “text neck”.

Other fatal problems resulting from mobile phones , what crosses your mind first? Car accidents. You’re not only risking your life but also risking others’. Late researches suggest that it also causes Male infertility!

What about psychologically ? Sleep disturbances may affect your biological clock, read my article about it , as smartphones increase the amount of time it takes to sleep. Plus, bright light may decrease sleep quality. Other symptoms are depression and anxiety , ask me, you don’t wanna risk having them.

Scared yet from smartphones already? Now take a step rather than sticking to them in your bed ; find a replacement. I said it before and I’ll say it again, nothing is irreplaceable . You have hidden hobbies inside you. Guess what, I never liked rather reading or writing and here I am really liking the blogs thing. What could possibly replace my smartphone? It doesn’t have to be a boring book , you can go watch some tv , hang out with your friend rather than hanging out with your phone. Try board games, the old-fashioned games are serious time killers yet not as unhealthy as smartphones.

Well thanks for sticking to the end, now make it worth it and time the hours you spend on your phone everyday!
