The Moon Is Talking


The moon is talking,
but not speaking,
it has the expression
of a man in awe.
"What have you done?
What have you people done?
What have you done?
to that beautiful world?
There was such beauty,
almost harmony,
when man was at one
with the world.
Look! Look around,
look around at what you've done.
Do you realize,
do you realize the impact,
the impact you've had on this world.
You have ruined
this host of ours
and you have endangered
your lives as well as others.
You have destroyed this world,
and yet there's nothing to be done,
and again, I ask.

What have you done?
What have you done,
to that beautiful world?
and why?"
