The look of autumn in thesunlight
As the sun shone through
brightlycolored leaves,
she felt at ease
sense ofpeace
Wind weaved between leaves,
Slight breezeand warmth of sun
brought back childhoodmemories
Long Sundays raking leaves with herdad
Hours of hideandseek withfriends
warm   comforting memories
So longsince she had taken time
     to appreciatethe
Tremendous   Beauty of nature

Her eyes,bright with joy
Could almost feel herinner-peace
I was      just walking by

         didn'tknow her thoughts
But I could see that theleaves
   orangeandred
Reminded her ofsomething, years ago
Now the beauty of the fall trees,and
fresh air surround us
      I was captured inthe peace,
the quiet
   I too      felt hersense
      of      inner   peace.
