By
Existentialism
We stand together
We yearn for liberation
From the anguish
That we have fashioned
Pleading for the freedom
Begging to be released
But we kneel
To a society
Crushing individuality
Bowing down
Before the royalty
That we’ve produced
To be rewarded
With a poisoned mind
Deforestation
We work like robots
Tearing down the forests
With a swipe
For cutting trees
Increases carbon dioxide
Enhances global warming
Causing our deaths
Taking lives away
By murdering the plants
Capable of triumphing over
Incurable diseases
Taking and
Destroying our dreams
Thoughts
Of the exotic creatures
We see
In a fantasy land
That truly exists
Called our home
The Earth
What slaves we are
To work
Longing for freedom
Independence
From that we tolerate
Fashion
Create
Produce
Honor
And save
From destruction
