On Sunday morning at 1:00 a.m high school senior Devantae Lamar Dallas was shot and killed at a late night party, The Barn Theater,a social hall at 11349 in Bloomingdale Ave. Deputies say a fight broke out and a man pulled a gun and shot into the crowd hitting three people. Dallas died at the scene, a senior in Durant High School in Plant City.Around 8 p.m Shooter,Khayri McCray Spoto High School Senior turned himself into authorities and was arrested.Also twenty-year-old Deron Richardson and Forty-two-year-old Jeffrey Thomas was shot as well,taken to a local hospital and were released. Poor Devantae won't be present in graduation, he was set to recieve his diploma in a couple of weeks but graduated a semester early. McCray is charged with 2nd-degree murderer and two counts of attmpted murder. May he rest in peace.
