Go Green!

Reduce Just by turning off the tap while brushing your teeth or shaving, you can save more than 200 gallons of water per month. Here are some other effective ways you can help to conserve resources…

Turning off the lights when leaving a room can save a lot of energy and help you save money.

Unplug Unused Electronics
A cell phone charger can still consume electricity even without a phone on it. In most homes 25% of the energy is consumed when products are turned off.

Recycle and Buy Recycled Buy recycled paper towels, printer paper, notepads, packing boxes, sleeping bags, laundry detergent bottles, glass containers, carpeting, trashcans, and trash bags. Look for labels that say “postconsumer” or “recycled.”

Buy Locally Raised Food Buying food that was grown near you can save gas and create less harmful emissions to the earth. If you buy food that is from 1,200 miles away you are using a lot of gas for no reason.
