why doesn't anybody care?

Why doesn't anybody care about the environment anymore? It is our world, and people do not seem to care that it is getting polluted. Have the people that pollute it are truck drivers, mainly, because they dump oil in our rivers, lakes, and streams. I love our environment and i try to help take care of it the best i can. But i can only do so much and people can help by not polluting anything, anywhere.
