With the busy schedules of the twenty-first century, it is amazing that people still find time for themselves. Arguably the most hectic lives are that of involved high school students. They are apart of sports and clubs, are in advanced placement classes, and are working to get into good colleges. While some students spend their whole weekends studying, a few find time to volunteer. It seems that less and less people these days pursue philanthropy and provide assistance in their community; but still a small group of well-balanced teens grasp on to this tradition of helping others. These students promote the importance of assisting the less fortunate and crowd homeless shelters, soup kitchens, and local animal shelters hoping to make a difference in someone's life. While remaining on task with their school work, they continue to benefit the community one ladle of minestrone at a time.
