Community Service Entry

There have been many community service things I’ve done. One year I went with my church on a mission trip. We all were divided up into 5 groups and went to different sites. One group went to a children’s home then three others went to residential homes, then the last one went around to all of the different sites cutting grass and doing yard work.

While I was there I met this girl that travels all over the world on mission trips. She has been to 6 of the seven continents all on mission trips and she has built more than a hundred houses. She told me that one time she was on a team with only 5 other people and she built a house in one week. She really inspired me byl all of the work that she had done.

So many people have inspired me to do so many different things and she was one of those people. She also set a great role model for some of the younger kids there at the camp that were trying their hardest.
