My high school Leadership Class is involved in many different activities, one of which is an Independent Leadership Project (ILP). When I heard about it, I immediately thought of my grandmother who had died two months before. She was a lady of commitment and very involved with the Crisis Pregnancy Center. I thought perhaps I could also be of help. I am a small part of the Center but I contribute, as a big help to the community. I wash and fold baby clothes and keep the Center looking nice. Every day is different and exciting with no two days alike. I really enjoy helping others when they need it. By doing this I have learned a valuable lesson about life: you are a really caring person if you go out of your way to help others when no one is looking. fl
