Aroundme the city buzzed
like the coming of judgment
and every billboardscreamed
my irregularity
Pedestrians' eyes lit like candles
as theypassed me by
the faded like dead pools of wax
I saw your face ineverything
dirty
faded
distant
in the eyes of entrepreneurs
your spirit shone
in the eyes of the impoverished
your resentmentlingered
like the coming of judgment
and every billboardscreamed
my irregularity
Pedestrians' eyes lit like candles
as theypassed me by
the faded like dead pools of wax
I saw your face ineverything
dirty
faded
distant
in the eyes of entrepreneurs
your spirit shone
in the eyes of the impoverished
your resentmentlingered
