What does it matter what people think?
It’s none of their damn business.
But you do care,
Don’t you?
Pleasing others is painful,
But it’s something people
Put themselves through.
If you didn’t care
What people thought,
What would you change?
Would you whole life be re-arranged?
It shouldn’t matter what others think,
Because when it comes down to it,
You’re all you’ve got
And nobody will ever
Fill that spot.
