It’s hard to realize that
A lie is still a lie
Especially if it’s what you want to hear.
You want to believe them,
So you hold their words so dear.
You know, however, that the truth
In their words is almost non-existent
And undeniably unclear.
But yet you still want to believe them
So you hold their memories so dear.
