Believe me when I say
I never wanted it to be this way.
Nobody ever does,
Wakes up and asks for heartache
Or for a friendship to break.
I didn't try to fall in love
But you made it so easy.
You were the first one who cared enough to ask.
You knew it was all just a mask.
Me hiding, even though, I didn't even know.
You cared, so naturally I did too. I guess I cared more though.
Who knew?
