"The Key"

I was walking around and I saw a key
But a voice said “Let it be.”
I go to school and think and think
And a girl gives me a wink
I leave school to find the key
But the voice says “Let it be”
I said voice you’re dumb
Quit being a bum
But the voice says “Let it be
I’m telling you
If you don’t you’ll be a buffoon
I say “I don’t care”
“The key looks nice,
It’s made of diamonds
&
Golden Rice”
I take the key and put it on my neck
&
Take myself straight to bed
I have an infection the very next night
And look like some hairy mice
I take some ointment and put it on my neck
&
There is nothing else to be said
I don’t wake up the very next morning
But my spirit is still alive
I see my family crying
As they say their final goodbye’s
I should have listened to the voice
Going on inside my head
But I didn’t and now
I am surely dead

This poem is fiction and I wrote this poem about not listening to the voice that was going on inside my head which was my conscience and everyone should listen to there conscience when it is telling them the right thing to do.
