When I first encountered the object, it mystified and interested me. It had an eerie color of brown, hints of orange oozing from the top. With long and thick, muscular veins, the object stood tall, even when it stood about six inches in reality. It was an object of beauty; crystal-like, untouchable. I couldn't just stand there and let it be by itself. I reached my hand out and plucked the earth-rotten mushroom straight out of the ground, and took a beautiful bite on its left side, the side with the largest amount of oozing orange substance. The taste was wonderful, warm and chilled, the mushroom slide down my throat with great ease, and as I was going to finish the succulent mushroom, my throat tightened. It swelled and became red- I could not breath. Air rushed out of my body, but would not come back in. My knees weakened, my eyes closed, I fell to the ground.
