One Mermaid

The sky is blue just like the blue ocean. I wish I could compare this to the life of a mermaid. I hate being a mermaid.
The life of a mermaid is dull. All we do is swim all day every day. While the humans argue if we are real or just myths.
The life of a mermaid which is full of deaths. Poaches and fishermen killing my friends and husbands and baby’s.
What is there to the life of a mermaid? The life of a mermaid is full of sadness waiting to happen.
