It’s a large lumpy wooden bowl. It feels like it just plopped out of a tree. A large mound of perfectly ripe rich navy blue blueberries sat in the wooden bowl. The cold berries felt like they just came out of the refrigerator. When I sank my hands into the blueberry goodness, my hand disappeared into a sea f blue. I took a large handful and sent them soaring upward into the sky. I tried to catch them but only managed to snag a few. They sounded like large rain drops hitting a cars windshield. I took another handful and smashed them on my face and felt sticky sweet blue juice run down my face.
